Emmanuel Pitakaka
Coordinator

Emmanuel Pitakaka is passionate about supporting aspiring and current entrepreneurs to grow and contribute to the socio-economic development of our nation. Hailed from Choiseul, Emmanuel is a recent graduate from the University of Waikato, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Laws. He is keen to explore new entrepreneurship opportunities to further the interests of youths and stakeholders in addressing high youth unemployment in Solomon Islands.

Rosslyn Ramoifuila
Membership & Partnerships Officer

Rosslyn's primary responsibility is to implement membership core services and facilitate value added activities and events for YECSI’s members. Part of his role is to also grow and maintain the partnerships between stakeholders and YECSI.

Prior to joining YECSI, Rosslyn worked as an inventory team leader at Bmobile Ltd. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the South Pacific, Fiji. Rosslyn joined YECSI in July 2020.

John Wopereis
Chairman

John is currently the Sales and Marketing Manager at Tongs Corporation but the same time Co-Founder in start businesses Kastom Tees and Kaleko Kona.

James Kana
Vice Chairman

James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Banking and Economics) from the University of South Pacific (USP). He is the Managing Director of a rural based agribusiness initiative; Ueniusu'unu Agribusiness Group. James has also been involved in social inclusion initiatives, including financial literacy and digital banking for farmers, women-focused economic empowerment and on the environmentally sustainable use of agriculture.

Phillip Subu
Board Member

Phillip Subu is a youth advocate, activist and rural development practitioner based in Auki, Malaita Province. He is the Chairman of the Malaita Youth Caucus, Executive Advisor of Malaita Youth in Business Association and the co-founder of Youth Online Campaign Solomon Islands that focuses on channeling youth voices through social media advocacy, civic engagement, research and consultation.
Phillip has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Tourism and Management from the University of the South Pacific.

Ilalina Bisili
Board Member

Ilalina is from Santa Ana in Makira Province and Munda in Western Province. She graduated with a Law degree in 2017 and was previously admitted into the Solomon Islands Bar Assoiciation as a Lawyer in 2020.
Besides her profession, she also has a passion for baking. This has led to her starting a small cake business called Cravings. She believes that as a young entrepreneur anything is possible if you have a passion for what you do and put so much effort into your business in order to make it grow.

Limahl Totogi
Board Member

Limahl is the Owner of Reveal Pasifik who believes in Education through entertainment. He is also Director at Totogi Co Ltd which deals with buying and exporting of dry cocoa beans.
He studied Digital Film and TV at the Fiji National University (FNU).
